Looking through the pictures from the AW 10/11 collections presented at the recent Milan Fashion show, there were a few noticeable trends consistent throughout the different designers. Military seemed to be a big hit once again and a lot of looks using jeans tucked into boots, a trend thats been about for a while now. The title of this post indicates the next big trend I noticed, playing a big part in of many designers collections. Fur and sheepskin was present in many of the jackets and coats at the Milan Fashion show.

I’ve displayed a few images below showing you a few of the ways designers were using fur and sheepskin in their collections. The designers have used fur and sheepskin with all different types of outerwear, including, macs, bombers, leathers, parkas, pea coats etc. It’s a good look and obviously adds that extra bit of warmth to the coat or jacket. Here at Men’s Fashion Bible, we usually try and pick up on trends from fashion shows and then point our readers in the right direction of how they can put together the looks from high street stores. Unfortunately, after browsing the Internet, I haven’t been able to find anything from all the usually high street fashion stores we feature, but I’m sure it won’t be long until they start bringing out their designer alternatives. Garm of The Week – All Saints Pyrus Blazer

I know that a blazer is an essential bit of kit when it comes to men’s fashion and I’m not happy with the outdated one I have hanging in my wardrobe. Realising that I need an upgrade I thought I would use this opportunity to see what the high street and online fashion stores have to offer and then share this with you (the readers) as a garm of the week feature. After a bit of browsing around I picked this one from All Saints, I wasn’t looking for a blazer to make up part of a suit, but more a jacket for a smart / casual outfit and being single button, slim fit and charcoal in colour this All Saints one ticked all the boxes and I think the £150 price tag is quite reasonable.

There’s not much else I can say to justify why I picked this as the garm of the week, as it’s mainly down to personal taste and style. If you are thinking of buying a blazer and this is the sort of style you are looking for then I recommend you get to your local All Saints store and try it on, if it’s not for you, you can always come back on here and give me some grief via the comments box below.

Recently, the trend has always been skinny jeans and layered cardigans and t-shirts, or Smart blazers and fitted shirts. The people that have kept this look going have now adopted the new trend. They’re going Geek Chic.
Now were not asking you to spend 10 hours of your day playing World of Warcraft, wear running trainers everywhere or even buy your jeans 6 inches shorter on leg. we mean adding certain accessories and styles that look down right nerdy, but with the right confidence and a good eye for fashion this can easily be pulled off.
Alot of celebritys have jumped on the bandwagon and got involved with this look, because the accessories like the clear lens glasses and the bow ties worn with a gentlemans suit or a fitted blazer just looks so unique.
