Barbour Chelsea Quilted Coat – Garm Of The Week
It occurred to me last night at a friends firework party, can of lager in hand, wearing an old leather jacket, stood in front of a bonfire that i was still absolutly freezing. with the weather in England recently turning slightly on the cool side i needed to invest in a thick coat for the winter. So as soon as i got home i was straight on the internet scouting around for a nice coat. Now with the Quilted trend we posted a few months agos it made me look more into that style of coat, and i found this great coat on the

Barbour Jacket Winter Trend
Up until recently waxed jackets were only popular with farmers and people of the British countryside, over the last year they have somehow made their way into the towns and are becoming a popular trend in men’s fashion. Barbour is the major brand behind this waxed style jacket and in a previous post we talked about how the quilted barbour jacket also made the same transition from country side to town fashion. I was curious how this fashion trend originated and found it wasn’t actually part of Barbour rebranding themselves to target a younger and trendier market, it was, as with many things in fashion, mainly down to celebrity influence. Chunky knits were a big hit in mens fashion last season and it looks as though they are going to be just as popular this autumn and winter. Recently looking around some of the online and high street shops iv’e noticed the chunky knits beginning to re-appear, with new twists and varied styles. Knit wear will always be a part of mens fashion, giving outfits layers and stepping in as alternatives to jackets, adaptable between both a formal and casual look.

The Tasseled Loafer has always been the stereotypical shoe for the successful businessman, mostly in america.
But over here in the UK, it is becoming a shoe for the ‘Lads about town’ or the casual office worker.
