As expected, in the summer it was all about bright and light colours, we seen fashion trends like white jeans, bright coloured chinos, coloured watches etc. Now we’re moving into winter it’s all about moving back to darker clothing and mixing a lot of black into your style, it might sound a bit depressing and a bit gothic but if you get it right black based outfits can be very stylish.
You can get a few different looks out of black outfits, a common one is that rock star look, black skinny’s, black leather jacket, low cut t-shirt’s and maybe a scarf, a simple look to pull off and more of a casual outfit, if you want some inspiration for a look like this have a little look at some Russel Brand pics, whether he’s shopping or on a night out it always seems to be tight black skinny’s and a black jacket for him.
The picture of Kanye West below shows another all black look, but one that brings a bit more class with it compared to the rock star look we talked about above. This look uses black jeans again but you don’t have to go as tight, the main touch is the outerwear, a black or dark grey blazer over a v-neck or low cut t-shirt, is one option or other possibilities could include a military style jacket or Mac. This style works with both shoes or trainers, hi-tops or tasseled loafers would work best with a blazer, if you went with a black military jacket however, some black work boots could be a better option.
