A possible new men’s trend I have recently become aware of is what is known as ‘meggings’, men’s leggings. They have featured in some of the trends making their way down the catwalks and I thought this is where it would end but people have been snapped in the streets of London Paris and New York pulling of this trend. It seems as though the trend isn’t to wear meggings as a replacement for jeans but to wear them as a layer underneath a pair of smart shorts, This is how they are being worn on the catwalks and also the style seen being worn by the trend setters taking meggings to the streets.
Maybe meggings is naturally the next step after super skinny jeans and apparently they are extremely comfortable, it will be interesting to see if this trend takes off, I expect their will be a wide range of views and opinions on this and any comments are welcome.
